One foot balanced precariously on the edge of the boat, the other wrapped tightly around the oar, the fishermen of Inle Lake paddle out each morning employing their unique rowing style (developed to see over the floating plants) in search of nga hpein – Inle carp.
Great shot!

Brilliant Photograph!
Thanks Stu!
Unbelievable! So you tried this Joey? If so, did you fall in? Did anybody fall in? Did you catch anything?
Yes I tried it! Don’t think I’m a master yet though, our captain grabbed a hold of us so we didn’t fall in. No fish, but I did go swimming and catch a few hand fulls of seaweed.
